Veterans Support Group

Veterans Support Group Forming Soon

This group is facilitated by a licensed counselor/OIF Veteran, Laura M. Harper, from the Columbus Vet Center. All veterans from all eras are welcome. Veterans do not need to be eligible for VA services to attend.

This support serves to respond to the needs of veterans in the community and will be peer directed. Group discussions may include military experiences, benefits/claims/upgrades for discharges, present relationship, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, military sexual trauma and other topics of concern to members. Focus will be put on “peer-to-peer support” and open exchange of “shared experiences” in a safe and welcoming community environment. If necessary, additional resources will be provided or facilitated through the Vet Center and/or Stonewall Columbus.

If you are interested or would like more information, please call Stonewall Columbus at 614-930-2268

We are compiling a mailing list of Central Ohio LGBT Veterans to send out requests for LGBT Color Guards and occasional announcements and news of interest to our veterans.
