This six week course is suitable for those who have never done yoga before to those who have some experience. It will introduce body awareness, basic yoga poses and their components, breath work and relaxation techniques. Students will discover newly developed strength, flexibility and mind/body awareness at their own level in a relaxed, lighthearted atmosphere. This class is most appropriate for those who can easily get up and down from the floor.
Open to everyone. No experience necessary. Students must provide their own mat and blanket.

Krav Maga: Self Defense for the Real World
Learn to protect yourself and your family with the battle-tested principles of Krav Maga.
Krav Maga is a self-defense system based on natural instincts, which makes it easy to learn, and effective regardless of size, age, gender, fitness level or experience. This 2-hour seminar will review some of the basic principles of Krav Maga and will introduce participants to a variety of practical self defense techniques. Minimum recommended age is 18.
About the Instructor:
Instructors
Terri Rosen is one of only three female Black Belts in the United States Krav Maga Association. Her passion for fitness led her to Krav Maga with zero prior experience, and she has worked her way up in the ranks from level 1 student, through to black belt and also owner of Ohio Krav Maga & Fitness. She is a USKMA-certified Krav Maga instructor, as well as a CrossFit level 1 certified trainer and CrossFit Kids certified trainer.
Melissa Blayman has experience in hybrid martial arts which makes her a well-rounded instructor with a background in both Krav Maga and Muay Thai. She is a USKMA-certified Krav Maga instructor, as well as a CrossFit level 1 certified trainer and CrossFit Kids certified trainer.
Sue Burton has a varied martial arts background including Kajukembo, Kung Fu and grappling. As one of only three female black belts in the USKMA, Sue’s experience and rank is unrivaled in central Ohio. Sue’s commitment to physical fitness has led her to lose over one hundred pounds, and she now shares this success story with the people she trains on a daily basis. She is a USKMA-certified Krav Maga instructor, as well as a CrossFit level 1 certified trainer and CrossFit Kids certified trainer.

Participants will learn basic steps in several ballroom and Latin dances such as: foxtrot, waltz, swing, cha cha and rumba. Classes are open to everyone, with or without a dance partner. Prepare for the Grand Ball at the 2014 Gay Games. It’s a great way for the non-sports minded, non-competitive individual to participate.
Jeff Grace has been dancing since the age of 8.He has been teaching ballroom dancing for over 20 years. Jeff has worked with all ages from pre-teen to adult, including coaching a college and high school ballroom dance team. Jeff is the former owner of the Akron Dance Academy in Akron, Ohio. He currently teaches ballroom dancing at area churches and coaches the Beechcroft High School Ballroom Dance team.

Class Size is Limited to 15 Students – Pre-Registration & Payment is Required
Join artist Paul Richmond for an open-studio art class at the Stonewall Center. Participants can work in any 2D medium of their choosing – graphite drawing, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic and oil paint, and more. This class is for everyone from beginners to experienced artists, with an emphasis on the creative process. Students will work independently on projects of their choosing with feedback from the instructor in a relaxed, informal setting. Whether you are looking to explore a creative outlet for the first time, hone your skills, or find a community that shares your artistic interests, join us at Stonewall for this exciting, creative opportunity. Basic drawing materials will be provided. If you prefer to work in another medium, please bring supplies with you to class. Instructor can also make supply recommendations. The fee for the class is for 6 sessions.
About the Instructor:
Paul Richmond is a fine artist, illustrator, and graphic designer. He is represented by the Lyman-Eyer Gallery in Provincetown and his work is included in several art anthologies. He is the Associate Art Director for Dreamspinner Press and has created illustrations for over 150 novel covers. Paul also co-founded the international anti-bullying You Will Rise Project. He graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in 2002, and has taught numerous art classes around Columbus, including at CCAD and the Columbus Museum of Art.
