We WIN in CALIFORNIA!

SAN FRANCISCO – A Superior Court judge has ruled that California’s law limiting marriage to a union between a man and a woman is unconstitutional.

The lawsuits were brought by the city of San Francisco and a dozen same-sex couples last March, after the California Supreme Court halted the four-week marriage spree Mayor Gavin Newsom had initiated when he directed city officials to issue marriage licenses to gays and lesbians in defiance of state law. “What’s Her Story,” New Stonewall Women’s Book Club a Big Success

Over 32 women from Columbus and beyond, joined together at Stonewall Columbus on Wednesday, March 9th for the launching of a new women’s LBT and allied Book Club, titled, “What’s Her Story.” This first gathering featured an introduction by Executive Director, Kate Anderson, and program overview led by Co-Coordinators, Missy Hossman and Becky Shaw, Stonewall Volunteer Team Members.
