Kelly Jaeger - President
Transplanted from Strongsville, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, Kelly has lived in Columbus for about 20 years and has been “out” just as long. Kelly works as a Senior Financial Analyst and Team Lead for BMW Financial Services and has been with them since 1995. She started her career with Stonewall Columbus in November of 2003 when she showed up for a volunteer orientation and, within 24 hours, dropped the idea of having a 5K as part of the Pride festivities. By Pride Holiday of 2004, the first Run for Pride 5K came to fruition and Kelly was accepted as part of the Pride Committee (filling a variety of “as needed” roles) and the Board of Trustees. During her time on the Board, she has held the positions of Fiscal Chair, Treasurer, Vice President and currently President. Kelly is passionate about the mission of Stonewall Columbus, proud of the forward movement of the organization and “in love” with the teamwork that has gone into it. She recognizes the importance of maintaining a center that is open and welcoming to the diverse cultures and faiths of the LGBT community. Kelly is also active in the areas of health/fitness, the arts and animal welfare issues.
Wanda Ellis - Vice President
Wanda Ellis moved to Columbus, Ohio in 1996. She is employed by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. She is a graduate of Franklin University with a degree in Business Administration/Human Resources. Wanda serves as Vice President of the Stonewall Columbus Board and has been a member since 2004. She served as Board Secretary for two years. Her passions on the board include the Faith Initiative and the Diversity initiative. Wanda works hard to reach out and connect with all groups of individuals in the community in an effort to have everyone involved and participating with Stonewall Columbus, The Center on High. She wishes for everyone to feel welcome and continue working together to build the future for the Center. Wanda belongs to Advent United Church of Christ.
Bruce Shalter - Board Treasurer
Bruce is a graduate of the Ohio State University and is self-employed in the health care field. He has been actively involved with the Human Rights Campaign since 1997 and served as the HRC Dinner Co-chair in 2001. Bruce is currently Co-chair of the HRC Federal Club and is in his second term on the HRC Board of Governors. He is an active member of Equality Ohio, BRAVO, Kaleidoscope, CATF, Stonewall Democrats and the Southern Poverty Law Center Leadership Council. Bruce has served on many committees and has been pivotal in the success of various fund drives for City Council, County Commissioners, School Board, Judges and other national and local officials. He is also a Commissioner for the 5th by Northwest Area Commission where he serves as the Zoning Chair. Bruce is very excited to be on the board of Stonewall Columbus and believes strongly in the vision and mission of Stonewall Columbus.
Andrea Ebreck - Board Secretary
Andrea Ebreck has served on the Stonewall Columbus Board of Trustees for two years and currently serves as Board Secretary. Andrea is an attorney at the law firm of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP, where she focuses her practice on non-profit, health care and regulatory issues. In addition to serving on Stonewall’s board, she is extensively involved in a number of pro bono projects that assist individuals in obtaining Social Security and Medicaid benefits and special education services. Prior to moving to Columbus, Andrea was president of Washington University’s OutLaw and was a member of St. Louis’ AIDS Vaccine Trials Community Advisory Board. Andrea and her partner live in Clintonville and are members of the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Columbus.
Lynn Wallich
Lynn has a Ph.D from Madison, Wisconsin in the field of Educational Psychology and Educational Administration. She is employed at the Ohio Department of Education (ODE) as an Associate Director in the Field of High School and Middle School Transformation. Lynn previously worked in the area of School Improvement for ODE. She has served on the Stonewall Board for the past 3 years.
David Glisson
David Glisson is employed full time with the Franklin County Public Defender Office as an attorney in the Juvenile Unit. Additionally, he is a licensed realtor with New Albany Realty and on occasion is an adjunct professor with Columbus State Community College teaching Real Estate Law to those wishing to become licensed realtors. David lives with his partner of 18 years in New Albany. Living in the suburbs now for 12 years, he realized how isolated he was from LGBT issues and after hosting a reception for Stonewall a few years back, David decided it was time to become more actively involved in the organization. Along with his participation in Stonewall, he is on the marketing committee for the Jeanne McCoy Performing Arts Center in New Albany.
Shane Morgan
Shane Morgan has been a resident of Columbus, Ohio for eleven years. Shane is the Founder and Director of TransOhio, whose mission is to serve the Ohio transgender and ally communities by providing services, education, support and advocacy which promotes and improves the health, safety and life experience of the Ohio transgender individual and community. Additionally, he currently facilitates the Transgender Support Group at The Center on High, is a member of FTM International Ohio and serves on the Stonewall Health Steering Committee.
Letha Pugh
Letha was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. Columbus, Ohio has been Letha’s home for the last 7 years. After graduating from the University of Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing, she spent 5 years in Memphis, Tennessee at the University of Memphis Center for Community Health before moving to Columbus. Currently, she is a Clinical Administrator for a small home health agency and a small business owner. Letha provides nursing services, including, but not limited to home health consultation, first aid, CPR and delegated nursing classes for MRDD. She is excited to be a member of this great LGBT organization and made a commitment last year to be more connected to the community. Although Letha is new to the Stonewall Board of Trustees, she is looking forward to serving the community. She is very comfortable with her identification and believes that young and old need role models to help them find that inner peace as well. Letha hopes to make a difference in her community.
